The Inlet

A narrow ribbon of water winds through dark banks and pale sand, carrying the eye from the lower edge towards the distant shoreline. Its sweeping curves divide the composition into bold, organic shapes, while a soft peach reflection warms the cool water at the centre.

Ink blue, charcoal and deep slate are balanced by sand, chalk and muted apricot. The restrained contrast works naturally with olive, warm white, taupe and soft grey interiors, alongside oak, walnut, linen, stone and dark metal details.

At 60 × 90 cm, the winding waterway and bold dark forms gain greater impact above a sofa, bed or sideboard.
