Across the Marsh

Across the Marsh looks over low wetland grasses and narrow channels towards a distant, level horizon. A broad blue-grey sky fills most of the composition, broken by a rising bank of pale cloud, while darker land and water lines lead quietly across the lower half of the scene.

Soft grey-blue and chalky cream are grounded by olive, charcoal, rust and muted terracotta. The palette works naturally with warm white, stone, clay and subdued green interiors, alongside pale oak, walnut, linen, wool and matt ceramics.
