Light in the Clearing

Sunlight breaks through a canopy of tall trees, falling in warm shafts across a small green clearing. Dark trunks frame the scene on either side, while layers of softened woodland recede into mist behind them. The eye is drawn towards the bright ground at the centre, where the light catches moss, grass and low foliage.

Deep forest green, moss and charcoal are lifted by warm gold, soft cream and muted sage. This natural palette works especially well with olive, warm white, stone and mushroom interiors, alongside oak, walnut, linen, wool and softly aged brass.
