Autumn Sun | Extra Large Square Japanese Landscape Wall Art

Autumn Sun brings together a broad mountain landscape, a burnt-orange sun and red maple branches in a square composition that feels calm but still has real presence. The landscape is softened rather than highly detailed, allowing the warm sun and autumn foliage to carry the focus without making the piece feel busy.

Burnt orange and rust sit against muted mountain tones, soft cream and deeper natural greens. The palette works particularly well with warm white, stone, olive, dark wood and neutral interiors, alongside oak, walnut, linen, wool and aged brass.

This extra large Japanese-inspired landscape wall art is designed to work as a statement piece rather than simply filling space. The square format gives the mountains and sun a balanced, architectural feel, while the maple detail adds enough movement to keep the composition interesting at larger sizes. It would suit a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway where a warmer landscape can create a strong but settled focal point.

Choose your finish

Autumn Sun is available as a Rolled Canvas, a Stretched Canvas, or a Framed Canvas. Rolled Canvas uses 400gsm artist-grade cotton canvas and is supplied rolled for your own stretching or framing. Stretched Canvas is hand stretched over a 38mm European kiln-dried knotless pine frame. Framed Canvas arrives as a finished gallery-style piece.

Choosing a size

Choose 86 × 86 cm for a substantial square artwork above a console, sideboard or compact sofa. The 91 × 91 cm and 97 × 97 cm sizes give the mountain scene more impact on wider walls. At 102 × 102 cm, approximately 40 × 40 in, the sun and autumn branches have enough scale to create their strongest statement above a sofa, bed, dining area or large sideboard.
